'Harnessing the nature of water'
for optimal health & vitality
From a Chinese Medicine perspective Water is the Element attributed to the Winter season. The human system, as with all other phenomena in creation, is made up of all five elements (water, wood, fire, earth, metal) and is affected by the environmental energies at play at any one given time. So, at this time of year we are most affected by the resonances or qualities of Water.
This workshop will uncover these qualities and offer practices, perspectives, and nutritional suggestions that can optimise vitality in this season, keeping us in harmony with the rhythms of nature and fuelled up for the year ahead.
Expect an introduction to Five Element theory, including meridian pathway, organ network, acu points, resonances, gifts, challenges, and psychological landscape of the Water Element. We will experience this through gentle movement, meditation, group activities, questions for self-inquiry, and visual/informational inputs.
