Group Reformer Pilates
Created by Joseph Pilates, the Pilates Reformer is one of the most versatile pieces of Pilates equipment. At CGM Pilates our group Reformer Pilates classes offer a combination of traditional and contemporary Pilates exercises performed on spring resistance Pilates reformer machines.
Reformer Introduction
Whether you are new to Pilates or not, our 60 minute Introduction classes are a must for those visiting our CGM Pilates Reformer studio for the first time. Covering the foundations of Pilates and introducing the Allegro II Reformer we make sure that you are equipped with all of the skills you'll need to participate in our faster paced Reformer classes. You'll cover the foundations of Pilates in a safe, small group environment.
Our Reformer Introduction classes are held three times per week on Mondays at 9am, Thursdays at 6:3opm and Saturdays at 10:45am.
Open Reformer (signature class!)
CGM Open Reformer Pilates classes offer a combination of traditional and contemporary Pilates exercises performed on spring resistance Pilates reformer machines. Our 50 minute reformer classes are designed to give your body a complete workout with a focus on core strengthening exercises to help improve posture, increase strength and flexibility and improve mobility.
Attentive guidance from your CGM Instructor is provided and all skill levels are accommodated.
We recommend private sessions to accommodate injury rehabilitation or those wanting guidance towards more specific goals.
Dynamic Reformer
CGM Dynamic Reformer is suitable for those experienced on the Reformer who want to add more dynamic movement to challenge cardiovascular and muscular endurance and improve strength.
This 50 minute class fuses traditional Pilates Reformer exercises with strength training, and Reformer jump board for a fast-paced class that will leave you sweating!
Heavier weights and springs will be used in this class.
We recommend attending a minimum of 10 Open Reformer classes prior to taking this class. Due to its dynamic nature, this class is not suitable for those with injuries or prenatal.
Stretch & Restore Reformer
CGM Stretch + Restore reformer is a gently paced, 50 minute guided restorative class suitable for all levels of experience.
With the aid of the spring resistance reformers, we integrate foam rolling, myofascial release work, stretching, and strengthening to improve overall mobility and leave you feeling relaxed.
