In this 2 hour workshop natural podiatrist Andy Bryant will lead you on a discovery of your own foot health, how feet are designed to function and what to do to bring them up to speed!
The big topics of bunions, plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis and neuromas will be discussed.
We will explore what a barefoot lifestyle might look like and how shoes fit into that realm.
We will look into the gait cycle, balance, mobility and strength and tie it all together in a playful way, making use of the foot collective solemate all-in-one foot training tool.
Meet Andy
NATURAL PODIATRIST
With 20 years experience, you can rest assured I've seen my fair share of feet! Yet my work is continuing to provide me with professional satisfaction on a daily basis.
The past few years have seen big changes for me in methods of practice. Now with a committed approach to natural foot function, returning feet to the way they're designed to move in harmony with the rest of the body.
I am passionate about the barefoot movement and natural footwear, noticing the benefits these approaches can have for clients in what had been a more 'traditional' podiatry setting. I am a forever student of the Foot Nerd Program with The Foot Collective, an international group of health educators focused on better general health outcomes starting with the feet.
